We do it all with dedicated volunteers, enthusiastic dues-paying members, and loyal Sonoma Valley businesses and individuals like you. We’d like to ask you to help sponsor this truly unique Sonoma Valley organization, especially this year. You’ll be joining a great group of Valley folks, and doing a service to the entire community.
Here’s what local support did for jazz in Sonoma Valley in 2010:
- 4 free Farmers Market Concerts during the summer at the Plaza's Grinstead Amphitheatre, with average attendance of 400
- 52 Friday night live jazz concerts at the Plaza Bistro, with a great group of jazz aficionados and newcomers, where everyone will soon know your name
- A special, modestly-priced concert celebrating the Wild Women of Song
- 3 Sunday Salons of Meet the Musicians at the Community Center
- The blowout annual Members and Sponsors Party
- Financial support and scholarships for jazz education for youth
- No-charge musician referrals to the various public and private events.
The SVJS is a small nonprofit 501 (c) (3) organization, and our funding comes almost entirely from donations from Sonoma Valley residents and businesses like you. SVJS 2011 Sponsorship Levels
Jazz Lover (Sponsor) $250
Concert Coverage At each of our four FREE Tuesday Night Market Jazz Concerts, we prominently display sponsors’ names at stage front of Grinstead Amphitheater, and we distribute a program about the performers, with a listing of our Jazz Lover sponsors. Before each concert and during intermission, we call attention to the sponsor display and thank them. We estimate thousands of local Sonoma residents will recognize your sponsorship during the summer.
Website Listing We actively promote our sponsors on our website. We list each sponsor, and highlight a different sponsor each week on the homepage, complete with logo and a link to your site. Average traffic to our site is ~1000 visitors a month and growing. Our dues-paying members will be favorably disposed to patronize your business throughout the year.
Email Blast During the week when you are highlighted on the website you will also be mentioned in our email blast that goes out to 900 + Sonoma County email addresses.

Jazz Patron $2,000
The Jazz Patron will be recognized as the Official Patron of one of our FREE Tuesday Night Market Concerts during the summer in Grinstead Amphitheater. This level includes the top 3 items above, plus the following exclusive benefits:
Concert Patron At the Performance, a banner will announce your company as the patron sponsor of that night’s concert, and you will be invited to address the audience at intermission. The concert program will highlight your sponsorship, and we will distribute one piece of your promotional literature with the program (at your discretion). You will receive an autographed CD from the performing group and be invited to meet them after the concert at the SVJS table, where you will also receive a copy of the show poster.
Website Feature Your company will be highlighted as Patron of the month for the entire month on our website and in our weekly email blast.
Private Concert We will book one of our performing groups for your personal or company party at your location, at no charge to you for the two 45-minute sets.
Annual Party 4 free admissions to our annual members and sponsors party.
Radio Spot You will be invited as a Guest on our local jazz radio show for 1 hour, where you can bring your favorite jazz recordings to play, discuss your interest in jazz and jazz artists, as well as informally talk about your company’s services to the Sonoma community.
