Paula West's concert at the Vintage House today was nothing short of stellar. Backed by an incredible band consisting of Adam Shulman on piano, Aaron Germain on bass, and Leon Joyce on drums, the synergy they created was truly amazing. Paula’s musical arrangements stand out as refreshingly unique compared to other artists. They possess this enchanting quality that draws you in and takes you on an emotional journey, spanning from the depths to soaring highs—it's pure magic. Her singing feels like it's transcended from a celestial source. Witnessing such unparalleled artistry is a gift, and I'm immensely grateful that the Jazz Society made it possible for us to experience this.
